  • ["Zombie" Lyrics by The Cranberries] [Verse 1] Another head hangs lowly Child is slowly taken And the violence caused such silence Who are we mistaken? [Pre-Chorus] But you see, it's not me, it's not my family In your head, in your head, they are fightin' With their tanks and their bombs and their bombs and their guns In your head, in your head, they are cryin' [Chorus] In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie What's in your head, in your head? Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie-ie, oh [Post-Chorus] Du, du, du, du Du, du, du, du Du, du, du, du Du, du, du, du [Verse 2] Another mother's breakin' Heart is takin' over When the violence causes silence We must be mistaken [Pre-Chorus] It's the same old theme, since 1916 In your head, in your head, they're still fightin' With their tanks and their bombs and their bombs and their guns In your head, in your head, they are dyin' [Chorus] In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie What's in your head, in your head? Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie-ie, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, eh-eh-oh, ra-ra [Instrumental Outro]

Who ever hates this song has bad taste in music.

No matter how many covers or tributes or remakes are made, this voice blows the rest of them away. She makes all the rest of them sound typical and ordinary. Aside from her voice the banging on the drum and the grunge sound make this song very unique.

When I was a little girl, my dad used to listen to this song all the time along with the whole The Cranberries' album in our vcd player, I remember the moment when I sat down next to him and watched the whole music videos with him, he's the reason why I love listening to songs and musics. No, my dad didn't pass away or anything, but he doesn't live with me and my mom anymore, my parents had a divorce 7 years ago, he also already has his own family and a child to take care of. I'm just glad that I got to spend my childhood with him :)

It’s weird seeing comments talking about a boxer or zombie apocalypse when the lyrics have nothing to do with actual zombies
  • One of those songs you can never just pass by, always have to play it and love it every time I see it. One of those once in a lifetime songs honestly.

I can't but help think of voice at certain notes like when she repeats the word zombie that she sounds like a bird call of sorts, can't figure out which bird but that's what made this memorable in I've never heard another artist ever do this again.
