You show up to work and recede to a little closet in the back of your mind...walking the work floor in a mental hibernation...going through the motions in autopilot just to get through the monotony knowing there is no big check waiting for you. Looking at your coworkers wondering how they can be so content with the whole scene. Stocking shelves and hanging up items that you can't afford on hooks. Then, when you get home, you try desperately to jump-start yourself back on in hopes of taking in the smallest bit of pleasure by engaging in some of the things you enjoy before you have to go to sleep and do it all over again the next day. And then three more days after that...And for fifty one weeks after that...

This song always brings me back to sitting on the bus alone in high school, staring outside of the window. I would imagine how my life was going to turn out. I would play this song every morning on that bus and hope for better days. I love this song and how it brings people back to a moment in time. Like our personal little time machine. Wish you all the best. I know others feel a sense of nostalgia when listening.

I was playing this video while I was working for 8 months a job that made me cry in the morning knowing how boring it is to just work for money and experience. Than I could go backpacking in the mountains, have my driving license, seek freedom and travel. Today when watching this video again, i notice i have almost the same deco in my room. The map of the Pyrenees and photos from my adventures all around the map :) i find this hilarious. Depression comes and goes, but there are the small things in between, a beautiful sky, the shape of the moon, the sunshine in summertime, the breeze. There is freedom and there is more.. that's what keeps us alive. I know it's a love song.. but i kind of feel the same when i am in the city, faraway from nature :))

I'm in love with people i've never met, and places i have never been. This song makes me feel sad and nostalgic and give me chills. And still makes me miss the time that never existed. And time doesn't exist, i know. It's all a human creation, but.. I miss something. Something i never lived. I miss this relationship i have never been in.

I love this music video. No happy ending, no grandeur. Just a small town girl bored at her day job fantasizing about traveling.

2010 were different times

This is the song I fell in love with my husband. I was verry young like 16 and he was my first love. I met him at a friend's party .Always thought of him since then and whenever I saw him I would feel my heart jumping out my chest. A year before i was going to college he moved in with my best friend in another city because he was a year older than me and he was moving away for college . I would visit them every week and after a while I would just visit him. I would take the train with my last money and sell my art to go to him, not letting him now i was struggling( I wanted to make my own money)but after a while I confessed my love and how much I waited him and how I couldn't date anybody because I couldn't get him out of my mind. He kissed me, I remember like it was yesterday, we started dating and he fell in love with me also. Now we have a beautiful little girl and we are happily married. I really do believe he is part of my soul. I wanted to share my story because it's just so connected to this song. I love it

You know when you miss that person from the past you slowly try to get over it, it comes in waves, it can be little bit of missing and sadness or complete full on crying your eyes out. This song did it for me, sounds amazing but I shed tears. Take care everyone.
