Today was by far the most controversial of the PGL Major, were gonna be talking about the no-call in the Virtus Pro G2 set for a while to come because it frankly leaves a nasty asterisk on a would be classic series. Regardless the STAGE IS SET for the Royal Arena later this week so lets talk about all of the matches today :D

idk man it really feels like such an obvious choice to replay that round. I Have no clue what PGL will say about this in the coming days.. ILL BE LIVE LATER TONIGHT twitch.tv/lionheartz1337
  • The rule was always the same, if damage has been done, even 1hp lost, no replay. It always been like this, and I think it will always be. There is no way to be fair after damage being done, some g2 players was already dead (niko) and also some VP players, there is no way to be fair with any of the sides if those kills were taken back.

There is a rule in counter-strike that when damage is done the round is valid regardless of technical difficulties. That is why the round wasn't replayed because damage had already been done, two players had been killed. You may dislike this rule, but it has been in place for a while and is pretty well known.

I don’t get how you got to the conclusion that the round should be replayed. The rules clearly say that if damage has been done it doesn’t matter what happens, the round is live and doesn’t get replayed. This crash has happened several times this major, none replayed. Even happened to G2 against Ecstatic, but nobody cares because: 1: People want to see underdogs win, and teams like Faze, G2 and so on, fail 2: It wasnt on 11:11 but rather 4:1

Damage was done already; they usually don't repeat the round if there's damage done.
  • @FOOTY485
If they can restart a round after damage is done what would stop a team from "suddenly" having a tech issue after they get a bad start in a pivotal round? That's the main reason this rule is in place...
  • @EmperorCheed
They only replay the round if no damage was done.

Complexity can only blame themselves, they prepared only vertigo and all other maps they were meh
  • @brok3worth512
Even when jame crashed Hooxi took forever to get that kill XD

Replaying round because of tech problem is idiotic. It would open up so many problems. For example players in the past would kick their pc for a tech timeout so they could call strats but now you would have whole rounds being replayed. What would the parameters even be? a mouse losing connection?, low fps?, headsets not working?. Not to mention if the disadvantaged win do we still restart despite them overcoming the odds? You have literally no clue what you are talking about in this subject.

You can’t replay that round man that’s not a weird thing or PG l’s fault

Lost my respect to G2 after that. Best thing they could've done is gave round 24 to VP and play overtime to be fair. Instead, we got a bottom-fragging screaming Hooxi. G2 better pray they don't have PC crashes on the playoffs.
