The entire documentary on the Roman Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD. This massive battle is one of the most stunning of all antiquity. On display were impressive siege works and feats of bravery on both the Roman and Jewish sides as they fought mercilessly over every inch of Jerusalem. Fighting would even make its way up the the inner sanctums of the Temple Mount and witness the destruction of the Second Temple.

40 minutes went by like 4. This was breathtaking, especially the ending

Roman Soldier - I've got this problem... Roman General - Have you tried building a wall around it?

Funny how Jesus told them "do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
  • Titus sacrificed a pig in the temple. Bro, that was a massive slap in the face.

The way you tell these stories makes me feel as if I could have been there. Your channel stands out to me because of this. Very stirring.

I started this video thinking I would skip most of it, or change the play speed. Nope, was captivated by every second of it. This was an amazing production and great example of storytelling. The final statement was well put. Thank you to everyone involved in making this!

I have watched this video numerous times, and I am continually impressed. The research, script, technical development, and presentation are outstanding. I have read and still teach Josephus, and his descriptions are quite vivid and dramatic. This production is very balanced and left me feeling, perhaps, like the Romans, amazed that the besieged kept coming up with new ideas. I encourage everyone to read Josephus; his depictions are vivid and emotional

I’ve watched hundreds, perhaps a thousand, history videos on YouTube. This was the best battle video I’ve ever seen. Standing ovation my man

I am, and always will be blown away with the innovation of ancient civilisations during a siege. It’s just.. mind blowing what they could achieve BY HAND in weeks/days.

I never realized just how long this siege lasted and especially how hard the Jews fought defending their City. I always try and put myself into the story and imagine the physical conditions of what the people were experiencing, and this visual telling made it much easier for me to do just that. And after this experience, I know I understand better how it must have been for both the Romans as well the Jewish people. The word horror just doesn't begin to describe it. Thank you.
  • Great work on this video. You deserve accolades for making this video. I think there should be an award for best YouTube documentary in the Oscars as well. If so, this video would have easily won.

what a HUGE effort put into a video. As a Christian, I have heard about and discussed the "Destruction of the Temple in 70 AD' in a way that seems almost flippant to me now. So often we forget as we read history that it involves REAL people. Thanks for making the Bible event more real to me. I look forward to viewing more from you. You deserve the massive amount of subscribers you have.
  • This was so well done it reminds me of when The History Channel actually did shows about history.
  • What a historical moving document. Thank you for your effort!

Best documentary I’ve ever listened to/watched.. heard most of it at work no visual and was captivated. Now I’m finishing it off at home and realize how these simple visuals took it to another level.. Especially after being engrossed over half an hour already

One of the best recounts of the battles at Jersalem. Thank you.

This is one of the most incredible videos on Youtube. Thank you for taking the time to put so much detail into this.
