Joshua Shmidt telling Farfa to give up BA and play Paleo is a vibe. Now I'm scared to submit my Lab list
  • @strike4489
Thank you for this. I have updated my decklist with 3 small worlds, evenlys, forbidden droplets, cosmic cyclones, nibirus and of course 3 skull meisters. If i dont top my next locals you will hear from me in the mail.

After I finish watching this, my 60 card dark magician exodia deck will be unstoppable!
  • Evenly Matched is a going second card for "going first" decks. You basically use it to minimize the amount of disruption you want to put up with when making a board to what you'd see when going first. It's fine in stuff like backrow and combo decks for that reason, though in "midrange"(handtrap spam) and OTK decks you're just floating around aimlessly while your opponent rebuilds their board to address your usually worse than middling setup. Actual "going second" focused decks usually want to either make use of the battle phase for using/protecting their effects, or to OTK outright, so it doesn't make sense in those even as a side deck option.

8:47 This is something I've been slowly learning to accept and become accustomed to, playing 40 is theoretically more consistent but sometimes over 40 is more so under very careful deckbuilding considerations.

I can’t wait for the next plant deck profile

Josh the time is running out, please make a video about how king calamity, albion jackson and other stupid turnskips should go next banlist since apparently someone at konami in charge of the banlists really likes to watch your content

28:37 as a Voiceless player I agree with Josh on Sauravis, I always get baffled when I see Voiceless decks with only one Sauravis, one of the main strengths of the deck this format is it is resistant to hand traps and Sauravis is a huge part of that.

Goblin Rider list looks crisp 👍, only thing that could be argued is missing is either the Ghost Trick package (Shot, Alucard, 2x Angel, F0 Package) or Armored XYZ + Full Armored - Black Ray & Crystalzero Lancer (<- board negate going 2nd) for equipping both Torpedo and Fortress for a big Dark Knight Batman Towers dealing tons of damage. Nyan Nyan is crazy, but a garnet, so hypothetically cuttable, because you really need to see Tour Guide or Terrortop. Not sure if the Extra Deck is expandable enough to run Pot of Prosp, but it's worth testing 👀 I don't think you need to be running Handtraps in the side, except maybe either Droll or Nib as targets for Crossout. I also like Evenly and D Barrier for the same reason. Could even play Artifact Lancea (counters Evenly) and Belle instead of D.D. Crow. Not sure if you really need the Goblin Continuous Spell, because you are only running 1x each Goblin aside from Dugg, which might not be enough names to fully utilize it, however i would keep it, if you consistently go into Crazy Beast or Lars, but then i would consider the Continuous Trap over the Normal one. TTThrust and Dark Ruler No More look like sideworthy cards too. Grave of the Super Ancient Organisms is pretty smart 🧠

23:56 the "Oh God" absolutely sends me, the list is fire though, I'm sure whoever made it is super smart and handsome

9:27 I was actually thinking about trying to go over 40 in goblin biker because there's a few garnets, but the problem for me is ED space. Any other engines you could play in the deck to give it more starters require more extra deck space in an already tight extra deck, and the main engine I was thinking about was SHS because you can use it to make gear gigant X and search speedroid terrortop to normal summon it and make gabonga which itself leads to a whole combo, and sargas has amazing synergy with goblins and can search regulas for an omni negate, but SHS just feels bad as an engine... Restructing you to not having any spells or traps in your GY to use it means you're heavily limited on what board breakers or non-engine you want to use, some powerful engine cards like emergency teleport also conflict either it, and obviously drawing into it later in the duel is just a dead draw. I'd really like to see your take on goblin biker though. There's so many powerful rank 3 enablers in the game right now especially since terrortop is at 3. I've even thought about playing a few mikanko names with water arabesque as a sort of board breaker that also assists with making a rank 3 since I think water arabasque is just a crazy card.
  • Small world is a good budget option in melodious if you don't have access to 1st movement solo (why is this card not reprinted yet). Veiler bridges everything (even ash/mourner) into refrain or an extender and you're already running 3 veiler anyway as a hand trap so no need for a zombina brick to make it work.
  • @Jyxero
30:35 This... I rarely play handtraps nor care about battle phase, so thanks for letting me know that "let opponent cook" isn't always a bad approach
