The video shows the "Cat's Spine" portion of the Fimmvörðuháls trek from Skogar to Thorsmork. This was a dad/daughter adventure to do something difficult. For us, that was the 14 mile Fimmvörðuháls trek, completed in 1 day. As we are both, let's say, "not too fond" of heights, the Cat's Spine portion was the most difficult and treacherous for us. You'll see how I inexplicably slipped early in the crossing and I'm glad it occurred where it did! From that point forward, we focused on the simple step in front of us and didn't look down. As you'll see in the video, if we had focused on the height, we may never have gone across.
