I disagree actually, this game scared me as a kid and still does today. Even the little details like Bonnie looking right at the camera or Freddy wiping his balls on the window still get to me.

Dude this shit TRAUMATISED me as a kid. I remember sneaking downstairs at like 11PM to play on my brother’s PS2 and putting a random disc in. I locked that memory so far back in my brain I had totally forgotten it existed by the time the remake came about.

I’m shocked that you didn’t mention setting the animatronics to “1987” in the Definitive Edition gives you access to the first night of the original game, I thought that Easter egg was very cool.
