Saw the F-22 go through it’s incredible maneuvers last month at the Cleveland Air Show. This aircraft is a technical marvel!

by far the best plane in service in the world to date.

As an aviation enthusiast, it just seems to able to do everything a fixed wing aircraft is NOT supposed to be capable of doing.

I love it when that jet just throws itself belly first into the turn!

Although I've seen it a bunch of times before, it still amazes me how the F-22 goes from flying to not flying but not crashing either and back to flying again, also just how small was that min radius loop he pulled right before the taleslide, I have not seen anything like that before, from any airframe, that was insanely small.

Great coverage Dafydd! Amazing pilot skills on display. One thing I've never understood is why do show promoters find in necessary to blast obnoxious music during an airshow? The sounds of the aircraft is all that is needed.

I saw a Raptor demo at the Dover AFB airshow a few years ago. First one I'd ever seen. I was in the USAF for over 22 years, 18 1/2 as an air traffic controller. Saw many F16 demo practices at Hill AFB back in the early 80's, and it was impressive. Saw many F15 demo practices at Holloman AFB in the early 90's. Not as impressive as the Viper, but still really good. The Raptor can do things that should be physically impossible. I walked away from the demo in disbelief of what I had witnessed. An incredible aircraft!

I am not going to lie, this is the best 5th generation aircraft in the world right now. The maneuvers it can pull are just unreal and you can see why the American's do not want anyone to know how this works. A really good 8 minute video Dafydd and thank you for posting as well.

The F-22 Raptor is the definition of "Everything you can do I can do better" doctrine.
  • Just a truly Amazing Aircraft, the scariest thing to ever fly since the Cretaceous period. The one benchmark that everyone wants to meet. F-22: "WHOULD YOU INTERCEPT ME?, I WOULD INTERCEPT ME"
  • I grew up around Pease AFB and was awe and stunned by the f-111s, f-4s and thunderbirds T-38s…which ultimately led me to join the AF at 17. Now that I am 60 and watching this jet perform brings me back to awe inspiring aircraft I watched as a kid…the next generation should be just as stunned on what mankind has developed! Hopefully I am around long enough to see the next generation of aircraft….Keep e’m flying and thanks for this great video!!!

Absolutely stunning! These machines are incredible and the pilots are unbelievably talented!

Just saw the F35 demo and was quite impressed. But this thing turns it up a notch or 2. The low speed manouvres of the Raptor are insane. And the 360 degree turns are so tight. It will fly circles around the Lightning II.
  • The videographer who shot this did an excellent job. I used to attend the Chicago Air & Water Show every year until I moved out of state and can appreciate the difficulty in keeping a fast moving object relatively centered in-frame. My only complaint is he didn't jerk and point the camera in some random direction at all the good bits like most folks seem to do.... LOL

This channel has the most gorgeous aircraft footage to watch. Thank you for sharing your work.

That has got to be the best pirate I’ve ever seen. Pilot. I mean pilot.
