His footwork is top notch, to change speed requires good understanding of your own footwork. When a decade ago, footwork was used to only create space, now itβs used to deceive your pace to catch defenders off guard. For shorter players, Garland is a perfect example of a player who is unpredictabe and definitely takes advantage of his elite footwork.

Plus on top of all this, he's an elite passer, so he can blend his shots with passes and create looks for teammates if you throw more attention at him.

My favorite player to watch because of his style. He got that throwback, shifty game!!! Keep telling folks, deception and illusion are key to breaking defenses down. His creativity and ability to assess situations are the most amazing things to me.

Darius is the point guard I love to watch. Yea you got Trae, Ja, Luka, and Fox them but Darius is just different. Heβs not flashy flashy but he get buckets on a down low. Cavs is a problem in upcoming season.
