The Shooting Galleries from the first two 3D Zelda games for the N64 were a little hard, but they were made easier in the 3DS remakes thanks to the gyroscope in the 3DS/2DS

Oracle of Ages is one of my favourite Zelda's but I absolutely knew the Goron Dance would top those list before it started. It is ridiculous

Dishonorable mention: the Postman's mental training mini-game in Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. the difficulty can be either very easy or very frustrating. if you attempt it without the Bunny Hood mask then it's one of the most difficult mini-games in the game since the timer goes invisible after a little while. but if you attempt it while wearing the Bunny Hood mask then the only difficult part is getting the timing down to get 10 seconds flat to earn a piece of heart.

The dog race in Majoras Mask was also hard. Mainly due to pure luck. You could either compete it in one go or spend hours and rupees completing it

You forgot the harp playing thing in skyward sword that was just as infuriating as the roulette guy

I actually really enjoyed Bombchu Bowling. I would go back and play that one frequently just for fun. The OoT horseback archery was a pain, especially if you were trying to get the full 2000 points. A single shot that was less than perfect cost you the round, it was 20 rupees per attempt (when the money cap was 500), and although money was easy enough to come by (especially if you found all the skulltulas), it still required running all the way back to Kakariko to get it, then back to the archery.

In Oracle Of Ages, the Tokay meat throwing mini-game that you need to win for the scent-tree sapling was always a royal pain for me.

the main problem with the goron dance is that the game does bad job at explaining to you what you are suppossed to do. it only tells you that you need to press a and b on the correct order. what does not tell you is that the "long press" and the "short press" are two different inputs, meaning that you can correctly press the buttons but if you press them for too long or too short, you mess things up.

The mine cart coasted mini-game of Skyward Sword was the hardest one I ever attempted. I couldn't tell you how many times I attempted before I finally got a good enough time to earn that Piece of Heart. The biggest hurdle was the final stretch due to a part of the track being out. You have to get the jump just right to clear it and not lose any precious seconds.

fishing in ocarina of time is my #1. i think i spent something like 2 hours trying to get the damn golden scale so i could get 20 hearts. never doing all heart pieces again because that kinda just sucked.

Concerning the Twilight Princess snowboarding, I always ending up using my sword on the Yetis whenever possible since it slows them briefly.

Ah yes, the Goron Dance. The bane of my existence when I was 12. I did nail it eventually, and once you get the hang of it, it is doable.

I would ALWAYS get super frustrated with the Goron Racing mini game from Majora's Mask! But getting that gold dust for the Gilded Sword is a must!!!!
