    As a UCONN fan, Duke had a good team, but UCONN was the best team in the country that season. Sheldon Williams was over matched against Emeka Okafor. UCONN had 4 athletic 6โ€™ 11โ€ players that were all lottery picks.

    Youโ€™re right about Calhoun out coaching K in 99 and 04. As you said, okafor picked up 2 fouls early in 04 and Jimmy sat him the rest of the half. Shelden Williams for Duke also picked up 2. But K brought him back in the 1st and he ended up picking up his 3rd. He never got into a rhythm the rest of the way and fouled out with only 4 points.

    Was it Nick Horvath and not Chris ? Duke did have Chris Burgess that year I think. ! Rashad The Assassin had Big shots down the stretch . A great game . For me, I think the 2006 squad was better .
