From the 1955 film "An Alligator Named Daisy", starring Donald Sinden, Jeannie Carson, James Robertson Justice, Diana Dors. Those were the days when fashion was glamorous and feminine, and designed for women who had figures, unlike today's fashion houses where the models are glum-looking stick insects.

  • Thanks for posting, I love Diana and don't see many of her movies here is US. She is super beautiful as Marilyn and Jayne but has her own style.
  • I really like how all of you folks comment about Miss Diana Dors šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ˜ŠšŸ¤— she died a year before I was born ,sadly

I think I saw the front fender of Diana's light blue 1955 Cadillac. Looks like a really good movie too.
  • Has anybody else noticed that Diana's dress was let out a bit for the dance sequence from when she first appears entering the room. One of Diana's trademarks was wearing skintight long dresses especially at film premieres.

Nice to see Ken Mactintosh leading his Dance Band. This line-up clearly doesn't include trombonist and occasional singer Don Lang who by 1955 was entering the wild world of rock n roll !. A few years before he'd co-written "The Creep" which gave the Mackintosh Band their biggest pop hit, especially loved by the Teddy Boys. Great film btw !
