  • An enemy you respect is worth more than a friend you cannot trust.

"I will send you my physicians." Man, I can hear the sympathy in his voice. What an actor.
  • He answered his "salam" even thought he wasn't muslim. This is a high level of respect to your enemy.
  • I miss the early 2000's: Gladiator, LotR trilogy, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven. I love massive ancient/medieval battles. Braveheart started it.

As a Christian, I love how this movie portrays Salahuddin as a cunning and benevolent leader. Who shows he cares for the well being of his men even though he is confronted with war. He did all those soldiers a favor. He drew back to allow them and himself to come home to their families. ✝️🤝☪️

Two badass historic figures, their grand armies behind them, each representing their belief, and decide to just keep the peace & respect. That’s powerful.

I like how the two leaders understand the depth of the power that they hold and the importance of respect.

"I will send you my Physicians." A mark of honor, between Leaders.

I love that line: “Tell my master, that Jerusalem has come!”
  • @LewisHaz
"Withdraw or we will all die here." such a cold statement from The King.

“Tell my master… Jerusalem has come.” What a line. What a scene. What a movie.

"I will send you my Physicians." I like how Saladin very much understands that Baldwin is wearing himself out and know how bad his condition is, but still sees him more friend and neighbor than enemy.

not a cell phone in sight. just people living in the moment. beautiful.
  • @GroovyCODM
They managed to portray those 2 great leaders without taking away anything from each of them, what a scene!
  • @Ben-bg2lp
This scene alone is more majestic than the entire Avengers series.

Both Baldwin and Saladin were good men. I like the way each are portrayed here, and the show of mutual respect reminds me of Proverbs 16:7, "When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him."

Saladin: Are you sick? Get well soon, I'll send you some doctors Baldwin: Thanks man, peace Saladin: peace, see you
