I know this is done tongue in cheek, but Stan has a legitimate point -- if you've ever seen a real professional pole dancer, you can tell she needs incredible flexibility, a lot of core strength, a high level of coordination, and good choreography. Even without the obvious sex appeal, it's an impressive display.

I've started pole dancing recently and trust me it requires a hell of a lot of strength and skill and is in no way easy. God bless you Stan Lee you're the epitome of awesomeness ^.^

Good to see you support Pole Dancing Stan! I actually think there is a good chance this will be coming in future, but before it can come to the Olympics, first it would need to become a proper sport. Right now it is considered more an art form and although there are competitions all over the world right now there are no clear international judging guidelines or standards of difficulty in particular moves. There would first need to be some national and international committees set up, and then the 'sport' would need to be practiced in this form in at least 26 different countries, and only then can it be considered for the Olympics! Remember its still very new but once again I do think it will happen eventually!
