Hello Jason and Katie, I have an interesting fact for you, this was one of the first videos Gabriel Henrique made, in fact this one went viral. After the success of this first video, Gabriel has been changing and correcting several things, which have helped him to improve his pronunciation in English, making it much closer to what native speakers of the language speak, the accent is much less noticeable in his latest videos, he also trained his vocal technique a lot, so what you reacted to today was also much improved ie he is getting better and better in vocal techniques. I want to tell you other details, after several criticisms and many of them derogatory, and critics saying that Gabriel was just a studio singer that without electronic resources he was not able to do everything you saw with your eyes and hear with your ears. So he simply recorded two videos with just a Smartphone singing inside a car. Songs: "I Have Nothing" and also the Song "I Wanna know what Love is". if you want to find out what Gabriel Henrique's voice is like without studio resources, look for these videos on his channel. I am hoping my fellow GH-obsessed fans will let the reactors know how to pronounce Gabi's last name: Hen (like the bird) - reek (like the smell) - key (like what goes into a lock). As many say below, Gabriel has lots of very emotional covers. In fact, I feel he is so special because in several of the other songs, he conveys great emotionality without letting the cover be all about technique. You guys are amazing! I feel that he got really better in his pronunciation since this Whitney H. cover! You should react to the same song but this time, he did without any microphone or digital melody... for two reasons, first, haters were accusing him of manipulation in a voice that he didn't have... and 2, because he didn't have any a Cappella cover!
