How to delete all comments and notes from all worksheets in Excel.
This works with old style "notes" and new "comments" and it does not matter if they are hidden or visible.

For Each ws In Worksheets: ws.Cells.ClearComments: Next Ws
Steps to Remove All Comments from a Worksheet
- Select all cells in the worksheet.
- Go to the Home tab - Editing Section on the right - Clear - Clear Comments and Notes.

In light of the YT comments with non-VBA tips to purge all workbook comments/notes, would it not be more useful to have a VBA macro or utility that selectively purges only those comments/notes that match some defined criteria? The criteria could be those comments/notes that specify a background color, date entered, author, contain certain text, etc.

I’ve got a macro question!! I prepare financial models that are broken down by “exhibits.” Some exhibits are just one page, while others are longer. For those that are longer than one page, we put footers at the bottom saying “page 1 of X.” However, when you go to print the entire workbook, the footer will say “page 1 of [total pages in workbook]” rather than just the total pages of that worksheet. Is there a way or macro I can write that limits the footer to only include the total number of pages of that particular worksheet rather than the entire workbook when printing? Thanks!!
