If you were on the fence about whether to support Gray Zone Warfare, let me introduce you to Marek Rabas, the CEO of Madfinger Games.

He is the brutally honest, transparent and genuine breath of fresh air you’ve only wished until now ran a games studio. Think of him like he’s one of us. He’s sick of all the crap that gets baked into modern gaming - so he set out to make a game without it.

Because of that, Gray Zone Warfare has no battle pass and no microtransactions. If the game ever sells cosmetics, all money will go to charity. And maybe even best of all: the game doesn’t use engagement-optimized matchmaking.

You might not realize it yet, but you’ve wanted THIS GAME and THIS CEO for the longest time. And I think I can prove it. Let’s dive in.

A BIG thanks to Jesse Kazam and Veritas of The Pogcast for allowing me to use portions from their interview here. Here's the link to the full interview:    • The Future of Gray Zone Warfare! - In...

I'm glad I watched and found out about the creator. Seems like he is exactly what we need. I'm all ready all on supporting this game. I would like to know the roadmap and when the day/night cycles will begin and how they use NODs.
  • I sprung for the highest priced package. I played 20 hours and enjoyed my time. I put it on the shelf and am still 1000% OK with buying the biggest priced package. I bought in on the endgame and development process. These guys won't disappoint us, incredibly based ceo and that trickled down to his employees!

im only a newb player, 3 or 4 solid days, im in Australia, and EVERY SINGLE TIME i play, i met the nicest and most helpful people who showed me how to play and helped with quests, its a breath of fresh air to be playing a game where everyone is just out for enjoyment

It's a breath of fresh air to see a game not have microtransactions for a change. But I can say with confidence that I'm invested enough in this game and the team behind it to support even if they added a few here and there. Awesome video sir!

I have patience. Improve optimisation before introducing more content.

Love this game! It has so much potential! I put in a support request because of crashes and it took them a while to get in contact but when they did it was like having a conversation and not just an AI bot chat. I hope they see their "vision" complete.

I've already got over 360 hours into the game. It's one of if not the best FPS games out already I love the PVP it's all I do. That and helping new players. That's how I get my dopamine rush to keep me engaged. I understand this game needs time to improve but here is the problem. Just like the CEO said AAA games are ripping us off and the people know it 900k people are looking for an escape. Time is of the essence it's more important now than it will be later. They NEED to push updates out as quickly and as safely as possible. All I can say is good luck to the team, every move matters.

Purchased on day one and have been hooked ever since. I've made quite a few friends that I play with daily just on this game alone. This game is a breath of Fresh Air, I was torn at first had a ruff time but 170 hrs. in and hooked. Not only is the game fun to play Solo but even better with Friends. Each mission is fun and challenging not to mention there are a lot of missions to complete. The Community is great as well, most of the high level guys you run into are almost always willing to help you out with a few missions or some loot. Sure it's not without some bug's but its also to be expected seeing it's only in Alpha and has more appeal than some AAA titles I've played in the past few years. These guys seem very dedicated to making this game the best it can be and with what we have so far you can defiantly say this game will be great when it nears full release.

after a long weekend of getting one tapped by AI, this was refreshing. will continue to be patient with MDF.
  • @cebuch.
I have exhausted this game content so far and it is waiting on shelf for next major update.
  • Great video again! Really love the game! Every time I play I get goosebumps and my heart is racing! Also Mara, what a great guy, what a vision!! This game is and will be the number one in realistic shooters!
  • Nice video - you are now my go to channel for GZW. Any guide soon?
  • @ItzMojoBear
any idea if vehicles will be coming, like arma to reduce the wait time between deployments?
  • @ShimonMaruani
I think the game is great. The questing is actually fun. The open map and faction make it even more fun experiment as you belong to a community that holds you. Talking as a tarkov and cod player, I suuport this game vision. Also upgraded to supporter adition in a week after playing. Good luck
  • I knew that the game would be „not finished“ but i still bought it tested it and decided to wait for it to get better and i am not one of those dudes who bombarded it with bad reviews just because i can BECAUSE GOOD THING NEED THERE TIME

I’m going to have to upgrade to the supporter pack now lol. Currently have 250 hours in the game and really enjoying it, all for 35 bucks! It’s worth giving them a little extra dough after hearing this.
  • @almightyIrie
This is THE shooter to play for me, and while it ain't 100% perfect yet it's damn good already. I bought it maybe an hr after release after months and months of anticipation and i just couldn't stopped being amazed for quite a while... naturally i upgraded to supporter a month later.. TB needs optimization badly though, but i know they're cooking and things will improve, in addition to all the stuff coming with first wipe [which, afaik they're still on track for october/november as per the "wipe every 6month-ish" goal]
