The artisans are to be commended for their skills in restoring this important and beautiful piece of history. I love watching this journey. Thank you again for taking us along.
  • The mastery of the artisans is so impressive and amazing to see. It is such a blessing that there are still people who can do such gorgeous work. What a magnificent jobs by all!
  • After all of your work emptying buckets to save the interior from more damage; how wonderful for you to be able to show the dry interiors awaiting their turn to be restored. Bravo ❤

First congratulations on your success, the château work and also 2500 views in less than 45 minutes. I am surprised at myself at how deeply emotionally invested I am in all of your work. The old lady is not just a building and not just a historically significant location, but an emotional investment for all of us. The work that you and the French government are doing with this landmark is phenomenal and the work that the two of you are doing with the documentation videos is some of the most pleasant and engaging content that I’ve seen on YouTube for a very long time. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. I’m sending good vibes for all of the good vibes you’re sending us.

One of the highlights of my week is watching my weekly Purnon video. Just fantastic progress and simply amazing the whole army of artisans involved.

👏👏 Each day, each week, is exciting. Madame Purnon is the grand dowager; worn, tired, awakening, and beautiful.
  • I have tears in my eyes each time I watch your videos. It’s just wonderful seeing this exquisite Chateau being brought back to life in such a caring and thoughtful way. It’s uplifting to know that there are still people such as your Artisans working on the project who have decided to go into this line of work and carry on the traditions. I just am in awe of their skill and great respect for them. I have your beautiful book on my coffee table and it’s just a joy to look at and read!! Thank you for making this your life project, what a wonderful benefit to the preservation of history and to just providing and protecting beauty for the present. ❤

Purnon is looking beautiful and it isn't finished yet so I am imagining how magnificent it will become. You were so brave to have bought her, I admire your courage.
  • @sampobs302
It’s like she has one eye open now slowly awakening to a bright future.❤
  • How satisfying to see another portion of the restored chateau. It is absolutely stunning. Congratulations!
  • I'm so glad you have paid attention to the details, your team has been so valuable and thorough. Thank you again for sharing this completely mad wonderful project.
  • @DeeDee-yz9ku
I love the level of respect, to the original structure.
  • @chemokiki
What a happy grin I had on my face as the camera showed us the first bit of scaffolding removed and Francis was backdropped by the beautiful roofs and almost seemed to know how good he looked! It definitely is a magic moment and there have been many! I'm so impressed by the two of you, with so much going on, that you can calmly produce these videos and take us along. Right you are about a lot of us "chomping at the bit" to get the luxurious interiors going! .... My great-grandmother was hard to wake also!
  • The roof is so simple and elegant. What forethought the original architect had when designing it. Truly stunning.
  • Your both certainty not going to know yourselves, once there is absolutely no scaffolding around your home, and although she is an absolute work of art she is your home. I am.most greatful that you share your home with us all. As you know we certainly dont have anything quite as grand in Australia and its a pleasure watching your channel and learning so much historical information about the past, including seeing the artisans at work in the traditional ways. Bravo! To you all.
