This was a great beginners kit for a great price. youtube.com/post/UgkxKRURvLsu9Vvyw7gIuvt8FsApoQNCd… Its given us a huge variety to test out and see what works well and what we like to use. Majority of the flies have stayed together well, but some of the rainbow warriors did unravel after catching a few blue gill. All in all, this was a great kit and are so happy with the purchase and value for money.

You asked for suggestions for future videos Tim. How about a video where you visit a totally unknown water. Talk us through how you tackle it, flies, methods, finding the fish, depths, watercraft etc. An honest video , where even if you blank, there is still a lot that we learn.

Great top up for this spring …your videos are always worth revisiting. Great lesson on how NOT to react to a fish that’s nipping the fly but not taking it. It’s so tempting to strike at the first touch but patience pays off! Keep up the great work Tim.
  • I absolutely love your films!!! Seeing those takes on your line is awesome. It kinda scratches that itch I have today because I wasn’t able to go lake fishing today. Thanks a bunch!!!

Nice one Tim, at the three turn water knot, if you tie a simple overhand knot with the dropper, you'll have a nice square tag.

I really enjoy your fishing videos, you are very informative and very skilled. Watching your videos has taught me how to fish buzzers and nymphs better. However, I have trouble using Shipmans, I know of guys who are using nothing else and catching plenty of fish. Could you do a video on using Shipman buzzers please? Should it be fished strictly as a dry or as a buoyant wet? Gink or no gink? Singly or as part of a team? Thanks
  • Great to see you back, you had great sport and a nice day for it,just one question I have trouble with the 3 turn water knot as I left handed,do you always have loop facing down and put nylon behind loop as everyone does it different, which is confusing.thanks.
