The Alex cutscene you skipped was about his unhealthy relationship with food, and how he used it as a coping mechanism when he was living with his abusive father. It's one of the most touching cutscenes that SVE added for vanilla characters. Here's a tidbit from the Wiki: "He says he used to use food to cope with the hard conditions of living with his father. He became an unhealthy weight and couldn't talk himself out of the coping habits he'd learned when he was younger. After struggling for a long time he was able to stick to a routine. While it wasn't easy, seeing the results helped him keep moving forward." Can't believe you skipped it! lol

Also, the apples party cutscene made me cry so much when i encountered it. I tried explaining the scene to a coworker and started crying just talking about it. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO PUT TEARS IN APPLES'S LITTLE EYES

Charlie! Now that you’re getting closer to perfection in expanded, you should add the Ridgeside Village mod and play through that one too! (It also works with Expanded so you can play them together!)
