The Ripple Effect of PTSD: Kirsty and James Greenshields

Kirsty joined the Australian army in 1994 and upon graduation served as an intelligence officer. After being diagnosed with depression in 2002, Kirsty left the military and began a new journey studying Naturopathy. Kirsty and James Greenshields married in 2004. They have two beautiful daughters, Abi and Pene. In 2007 whilst in charge of over 100 soldiers in Iraq, James' vehicle was hit by a road side bomb leaving him with shrapnel and blast wounds. James' unseen PTSD wounds didn't manifest until he returned home to his loving family who became collateral damage.
