    Lorne Balfe using bongo heavily in Fallout is one of the best thing he did to this franchise.

    MI:7 I feels like stressful, pressured, oppressed. MI:2 is the most unique theme, able to distinguish clearly. I love it the best of mine.

    I just love how every theme is unique but still remains the identity of the franchise even with all the difference.

    Honestly the Danny Elfman theme is still one of the best, despite being the first in the film series. Zimmer's rock version works for the MI2, but obviously sticks out from the rest. Giacchino's MI3 theme and Kraemer's Rogue Nation theme are probably my least favorites, they're fine, but nothing really stands out. Giacchino definitely perfected his theme for Ghost Protocol, giving it a cool jazzy kind of feel, with a touch of mystery, leaning into the "ghost" part of the title. Lorne Balfe's two themes do a very good job of conveying the intensity and stakes of Fallout and Dead Reckoning and compliment their respective title sequences very effectively.
