The Kathmandu airport plane crash had a sole survivor. The aircraft, carrying 2 crew members and 17 technicians, crashed while taking off. The lone survivor, Captain Manish Ratna Shakya, a pilot for Saurya Airlines, was rescued from the wreckage and is being treated for injuries.
