The Sonic Colors choice is a tough one (Sonic game music has a way of tormenting people like this)...I find Sweet Mountain Act 3 seriously catchy.

Wait...based on how the rules of selecting the songs seem to imply top songs in a game, how in the heck is Hill Top Zone the top song in Sonic 2? I'd rank either Chemical Plant or the special stage song higher for that one. A really simple reason I could name for choosing the alternates is that those were used in advertisements for the game (which played a role in me and many others buying it back in the early 90s).
