  • Wow! Seeing this again makes my heart skip a beat. I was in a small bathroom with my children as this storm DEMOLISHED my home & hometown of 46 years. There are no words to describe THIS experience! We are all living miracles… we weathered the beast… Hurricane Michael! 🥺

I love how peaceful and clear the sky is after something so devastating.

Roofs blown off, houses destroyed, cars on their top. Palms: I‘M STILL STANDING 🎶

Great footage...surviving a direct hit from Hurricane Charley's eye still haunts me to this day....I remember trying to ride it out on a front screened porch but once the tarps blew away & all the massive oak trees starting uprooting I knew it was time to take shelter inside. It went from a sunny afternoon to apocalypse in 1 hr

I survived this hurricane in Savannah, Georgia. One of the longest nights of my life. If they tell you leave, LEAVE.

Hurricane Michael: I will destroy everything that comes in my way Palm trees: hold my evergreen

Literal buildings are being damaged but these palm trees are like: “did you feel a breeze or was it just me?”
  • We had a condo in Panama City Beach, I remember when I was little back in 2004, Ivan came through. We decided not to leave and stay in the condo since it was hurricane proof instead of getting stuck in evacuation traffic during a Cat 5. The most eerie thing about being stuck in that was that the wind was so strong. It forced its way inside of the building and you could hear it in the hallways, the most eerie sound to this day.

Videos of the worst damaged area months after Hurricane Michael show that the majority of the palm trees underwent tremendous stress from both the wind and the storm surge, but remained standing and alive even when every structure around them was wiped out. That really impressed me.
  • Wow, 67 million views on this, Michael was truly an insane storm, probably the most well documented by storm chasers in history.
  • @MaliciousSRT
Think of how it was before they could track storms, one of these literally showing up while you were at the beach.
