Try 37 years as a Welder and no days off for 4 months during the summer! Been there and done that! That’s one of the reasons I’m disabled now, too many years of hot hard physical work! Within 5 years I’ve had both knees fully replaced, left hip replacement and left shoulder replacement! And I did it all for people that didn’t care after I was forced to give it up and retire at 55!
  • I really like how nimble and productive this machine is. Your a good operator , no wasting time . I think it would be nice to have a slow reverser on the head , for stuff getting tangled in the head. Nice work very efficient !!!!!!!!

The sun glare really makes the dirt on your window stand out.
  • Wish that You had a way that You could dump the Hydraulic Fluid to relieve the pressure. So the Cutter Drum would Free Wheel. Maybe that is something that You can look into Davin.

Thanks for sharing Davon, I remember kneeling on a steel deck welding and couldn’t find anything to kneel on except a 2X4 because the steel deck was probably 150-180 degrees! Probably could’ve fried an egg on the deck! They finally after a week bought us some umbrellas for shade! But some of those barges, we had to go down in the tanks and replace steel and weld new steel bracing on the tank floor! Probably 130 degrees down there!

I would have been interested to see/hear your Zoom with TMC Cancela. Discussing the technical pros/cons must have been enlightening. Project is looking incredibly nice! Real nice marsh views for sure!
  • Davin, I love how much you love your job…you’re a good guy & have come such a long way with your business. Many would do well to follow your example! This job certainly has turned into a 'spray foam' project…just keeps expanding and expanding, all due to you giving above and beyond the customer's expectations!! 👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
  • @frankward423
You got hosed on that job. Really enjoying the videos.👍
  • @kirk467
I figured he would want the rest done, it looks so good afterwards! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 That sucks, why can’t you just reverse it? Why isn’t it designed to put in reverse because of situations like this Davon? Maybe you should talk to the designers of the TMC?
  • Any body else getting Rick Moranis from Ghostbuster vibes when he's talking? Geez......
  • If you dont have to be out in the heat on those hot days you have coming up, Taking them off, and not putting yourself through the ordeal of dealing with the heat all day, even if your inside your skidster, or other machines. Your machines will also be put through a test as well simply trying to keep your cab air conditioned throughout the day, and you surely will not get out of your machine very often... Go take some time for youself, and relax your mind, and body, stay cool, and enjoy the moment hot or not.
  • Nice area to chillax. Definatly not Sacketts Harbor NY and the St Lawrence lol..Real salt water...
  • maybe suggest to TMC a freewheeling switch like a winch. couldve pulled that hose right out...
  • @tomswindler64
The mulcher is still just going through all that mess with ease.impressive,impressive.of course to have a good machinery you have to have a great operator.kudos, kudos to you.is the developer making concessions for the low lying land since hurricanes and big storms will be impacting this property.great job, great video.just keep doing what you do best.be safe 👍👍👍
  • @Natoyarose
I've always found sidecutters are the best thin for cutting garden hose

When I was a kid, I used to take a cast net and a 5 gallon bucket down to the north causeway bridge (not too far from where you were) and park on the side of the road. At low tide I was able to net half a bucket of shrimp in a 2 hour period. I wonder how good the casting would be from that spot you were showing us.
  • The water hose ordeal was a bit eerily similar to a vacuum cleaner sucking in a carpet strand... Good times bro...Good Times...LOL

You’re lucky, I went for the big money and a craft I loved and now I’m half crippled! Life’s hard 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻
