Oh my god, thank you for putting actual text on the icons! It drives me crazy when tier-lists (for whatever game) use abstract icons that it is just assumed everyone knows what the heck they are at a glance...

Okay so I was a paladin and broke my oath on accident not knowing that was a thing and was like “oh Ight time to be evil I guess” so it’s good to know my intuition guided me to a top tier build😊

I'd swap the two Wild Magics. Wild Magic Barb has basically no bad rolls on its magic table. They are all buffs. Sorc can completely screw you with a magic roll.

I 100% believe moon druid is S teir. Being a person who can summon a thing that can summon another thing and then casting a concentration spell and then turn into a high damage creature hitting multiple times per turn is just beautiful. Plus one shoting grym is definitely fun (for all the pain it caused me)

little tid bit for nature clerics. they get a druid cantrip so taking thorn whip for the pull effect is really nice especially when you have spirit guardians up

I played a beast master in my first run through. It’s slept on, take 1 or 2 levels in fighter depending on what you’re trying to do and it’s really really fun and has insane damage at times.

Putting wild magic sorcerer above wild magic barbarian feels crazy to me. Wild magic sorcerer has a lot of very lethal effects in its wild magic table that can very easily cost you an honour mode run. Basically every effect for wild magic barbarian on the other hand is just strictly good. There isn't a single detrimental effect, and almost every effect is generic enough that it will be useful in most fights. Imo it feels like a travesty to put it at the lowest tier.

Once you have a playthrough or two in and are familiar with itemization, you can pick any class-sub class and not have a hard time with any content. I always choose RP first, class-sub second.

How does the tempest cleric work? Is it another situation where you are actually a sorcerer, and barely dip into cleric similar to eldritch blast sorlock? Or do you get to go like 10 cleric, 2 sorcerer? Cleric doesnt get chain lightning right?

Are these ranked in terms of solo play or team play?

Ranger: Hunter does not have much going for it until level 11. Its not bad but just a weaker platform than other classes or subclasses. Beast Master is an amazing choice for leveling, better than Gloomstalker. You can respec later, and all of them are good. But until act 3 you should probably choose beast master. The companions are great early just for having an extra body and free attacks. Starting at 5 most of them get very important utility, disarming, rage, blind, disdavantage on CON saves. This just gets better at 7, 8 and 11. It's not S tier compared to other classes but if you really want a ranger, its at least not going to hold you back. Wizard: Transmutation is S tier, but only as a non-combat camp character hehe. Druid: Oh boy, this is my domain. I made several of the most popular druid mods for BG3. It has a lot of mechanical issues in vanilla and poor synergy, but some things it always excels at. Tavern Brawler means you almost never miss in Wild Shape. Wild Shape allows you to tank like an Eldritch Knight, just by pure health. Another really good point is that they can control the battlefield with one spell. Spike Growth at 2, Sleet Storm at 3 and Confusion at 4+. All of these just win you the fight. Druid has a big mix of amazing and terrible spells. It's not very beginner friendly because you need to know which ones are the good spells and how to use them. Sorcerer: Draconic Bloodline is more beginner friendly in my opinion. Without wet blasting storm sorcery loses appeal and its passive bonuses aren't that amazing. Draconic Bloodline very simply gets you permanent mage armor, half the 'tough' feat, 5-7 damage on all spells of your type (including cantrips, which makes your resourceless rounds much more powerful) - and most importantly, permanent fly at 11 without costing a bonus action. A beginner choosing a fire-based dragon type can't go wrong with this. Choosing cold or lightning makes those spells deal more damage than Storm Sorcery would.

for the most part i agree with the list. i think the most egregious thing on it is how low assassin is but at the same time, i get it. i liked it :)

The heal on ancients really helps on the higher difficulties too

I made Astarian arcane trickster in my 1st playthrough because it sounded cool, now I have a rogue that doesn't do any sneak attack damage sadge. Only another 80ish hours to go to the end of act 2 and act 3 though so I can start a new playthrough.

My Sword Bard focused on psychic damage with gear focusing on that turned it into one hit monster. Also the eldritch knight bonk build is broken af, same go with the draconic venomous sorc build with the right poisonous gear. Beast master is D tier tbh and I'd bump 4 elements up to B.

My current honour mode team is Barb/Fighter, Life Cleric, bard and fiend sorlock, basically just buff the whole team and push enemies with Eldritch blast as my barbfighter takes aggro and finished them off
