She has amazing fractures in her voice and we have heart fractures 💔 what a voice ❣
  • Another fine Angelina reaction! Her version of "Autumn Leaves" is not a direct cover but is influenced by the 1950 recording by the great French singer Edith Piaf. You can hear the similarities in phrasing and style between the two. Angelina's version also includes references to the piano lines made famous by Roger Williams in his 1955 recording. All of that combined with Angelina's voice makes for a beautiful rendition today.

Always great to see your reactions Sandy. Someone below said that most reactors don't seem to get" Angelina. I agree. Clearly you do and I ALWAYS look for yours on here. As always thanks!
  • Memories I played a trumpet solo in a band in the early 60's and this brings back so many memories. Thanks Sandy and Angelina.
  • I love your music, I love your voice, I love your pure innocents. I don't love you like a wife, you are to young, or you can say I am too old. I love you like I would love my daughter and that is a very powerful love. I love you and wish you the very , very, best. I will love you, for ever more.
  • Welcome back. I am not aware of the issues you might be dealing with but I can tell you that as I try dealing with the recent passing of my wife of 53 years I find that time spent listening to the angelic voice of this barefoot angle becomes my perfect time to find peace and to reflect on life past, present and future. Her voice is my medicine for the heart. I hope things improve for you soon and always remember Angelina can be a bright spot no matter the day.

Nice to see your glowing beautiful face back again , Angelina ,words are not enough for her talent. when she is ready to let it all out to the world, she will dominate the singing world.

Mr.Lonley...another oldie but sooooo good and sad! I know that you will 💕 it!
  • Good reaction. You were right on mentioning the Paris sound. This is as French a song as you can get. the original title is Feuilles mortes. The first to sing it in the English version was none other than Edith Piaf, back in the days she was often singing at the Hotel Pierre in New York. Edith Piaf ! the greatest of all times; tough challenge for Angelina, met with flying colours. She has her own style, but here, she gets the French sound of the 50s. Merveilleux !
