Cross fell limp onto Nightmare as the remaining
life in his body drained. Nightmare held him close and whispered
"good night." after that he was gonna dispose his body but then he
felt something drop from his eye, and it wouldn't stop. he was
unaware he was capable of shedding tears and was dissapointed he
was crying over something as little as this. he didn't feel sad in any way
but his eyes kept producing more tears. eventually he brushed it off
and got rid of the body. 4 days had passed and no one has heard
anything from or about Cross, Epic has been desperately searching for
his bruh but to no aveil. the muder time trio was curious and wondered
where Cross was but none of them had the guts to ask Nightmare about it.
one day, Dream confronted Nightmare about Cross with concern and worry
on his face though displaying an aggressive behaviour towards Nightmare.
Nightmare declined the accusations Dream has against him and claimed he
didn't do anything to Cross and that he simply ran away with the reason that
Cross got tired of listening to people and them telling him what he should be
(him staying with Nightmare or leaving with Dream, good or bad.) and wanted
to find his own path and be himself, he packed his stuff and left. of course
Dream didn't believe Nightmare, after all he and Cross talked about him leaving
Nightmare and starting a fresh new life. a story comepletely unrelated to their
plan was absurd. Nightmare even told Dream to check Cross's room, saying that
he left a note and his stuff was gone which was a bluff. Dream had second thoughts
and Nightmare could sense his insecurity, though Dream didn't fully believe Nightmare's
story he left to continue searching for Cross. once he left the muder time trio decided
to finally ask Nightmare about Cross. Nightmare's respose wasn't what they expected and
they found out Cross is dead. Dust lashed out calling Nightmare insane and a psychopath
to be killing one of his subordinates, Nightmare replied with "what? i could kill anyone of you
3 right now if i wanted to, aren't we all insane here? take this as an example of what would
happen if you try to go against me." he threatened. no one questioned and instead stayed quite.
