On September 29, 2020 the Dive Bomb Industries crew had a BIG DAY IN COLD BAY with Capt. Charlie Summerville of Aleutian Island Waterfowlers. We set out at dark with the high tide & arrived to our destination as dawn started to break. When the tide began to fall, chaos ensued as Pacific Brant began trafficking back and forth across the lagoon by the thousands. As they swept over our decoys, we kept our eyes peeled for mature birds in hopes of harvesting one carrying a little something extra around its legs. Our patience was rewarded with a double banded Brant sporting a black tarsal band & stainless aluminum band, our 2nd of 4 on the week. We spent the rest of a very memorable day taking pictures, picking away at lesser Canada geese and enjoying a shore lunch of Brant fajitas before the tide came back in that evening & we had enough water to head back to the lodge!

    Brings back good memories of goose hunting in Manitoba Canada with my family and friends and cooking bacon and eggs on the tailgate toast coffee the hole works and having the game officers join us for breakfast

    What a killer hunt !!!! Charlie the guide what a entertaining outdoors chef. Eventually once I get my waterfowl hunting down again I’ll be giving Charlie a run for his money with blind meals, after all I am the river chef. I have done a few epic river meals gold mining with my mining buddies just need to get some hunting field videos going.
