These sounds are from the included soft synth, although they may have been EQ'd, compressed, or otherwise improved in mixing.

One of the best sax sounds come from M-1 (also M-1Rack) from Korg. It comes with the suitable effects (of course, you can edit them at your taste). As it is a vintage Kbd/modulo you probably can afford one for a cheap price in used intruments in eBay etc.... Well, I am a profissional keyboard player, I don't play wind instruments but I love them.

Are there any plug in's to make the sax sound better on the ewi usb. can you add sounds? Not one of the sax sounds remotely like a sax of any kind. Help!!

Don't buy Nothing from AMS unless you want to get used merchandise at a New price, their policy is to resale returned goods as new unless otherwise called out over it and then they are willing to cut you a deal if caught. This company is very unethical and underhanded at the way they do business, I will never buy another thing from them period.
