How to GROW Your Fighting Game Community?

Published 2024-07-23
We built the biggest fighting game community in South America.

This is a continuation, or "second half" of my previous video where I thank VGbootcamp for their partnership with our events. This was the original idea for the video, but I felt I had to thank them separately.

As a continent, I admit that we are far behind compared to other scenes like North America or Europe, but we are finally catching up. We started with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and now, we've started to expand into other games like Street Fighter 6 and Guilty Gear.

It didn't happened over night. The community has been around for more than 10 years, but it wasn't until 5 years ago when we took matters into our own hands en began growing our scene into what it is today.

In this video I go over what we did, and some tips that any small community can copy.

Enjoy the video!

well edited and p. insightful. much love from the US. love seeing SA FG scenes pop off because there's so much talent down there most never see
  • Great tips! No es fácil llegar a donde ha llegado Smash Venezuela, y definitivamente resumes los puntos clave. Hay mucho qué agradecer a nuestros TOs porque ayer las vieron verdes para poder verlas maduras hoy. Unos cracks. Best tip for getting your scene to grow: Geek Properly
