Salamat s pag upload..tagal ko na nag hanap ng mga games smb noong time nila Hector. Sana meron pag iba . Lalo n ung finals ng grandslam year nila.. .. up to now SMB pa rin fav.team ko.. Win or lose.

As an American who grew up in the Philippines (and someone who loves the game of basketball) Joe Cantada and the 80's and early 90's PBA were some amazing memories. I remember going to one of the games at the ULTRA and getting pelted by the octagon 2-peso coins that the fans rained down on the court when the refs made a questionable call against Ginebra(or whatever team was frequented by the "Big J". I remember the infamous Anejo walkout (I was a huge fan of Shell)--Rudy Distrito broke my heart the following season. And while I liked going to the games, I also loved seeing them on TV and listening to one of the great sports voices of all time. Cantada  One of my favorite lines from Joe Cantada, "Samboy Lim, the dragon belching fire through his nostrils..." Another one, "Alan Caidic/or Ronnie Magsanoc with an ICBM" "Smoking Joe" was a rare treat.

Hector Calma talaga, the playmaking talent. Best point guard.

Ito ung era kung saan pinakamaganda ang pba. Combination of pba veterans and sophomores. Ito rin ung time na dapat ay si Mon Fernandez ang mvp pero binigay nila kay Paras. Pang 5 mvp sana ni el presidente. Naalala ko si hector calma, sya ung all time best pba point guard.
