In 2019 I went through the absolute most difficult time of my life. I dropped out of college and stopped everything in my life because I became so extremely sick. Everything in my life had to stop. Every single day and every single night I battled with mental illnesses that kept me on the verge of suicide. Every day and night I couldn't escape the broken hopes and dreams and the failed relationships and the disappointment in myself that I collected when I had to quit everything in my life. Years of my life, blood sweat and tears I poured out to make it into my dream university, my greatest hopes and aspirations - little did I know that the greatest aspirations would be my greatest failures, that my greatest hopes would be my greatest disappointments, that the height of my life would become the lowest in my life. I suffered with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and perpetual psychosis. It was impossible to escape the perpetual torment by day and the perpetual torture by night. I would wake up in night terrors and no matter where I went, all of my woes followed me like a rainy cloud. I had to look to what I could find to keep me going. I learned to appreciate the little things in life and to appreciate simpleness. When I became unravelled slowly at university and had to painfully let go of every one of my aspirations, it was your music that kept me through. Whenever I found quiet moments in the day or night, little moments I could be at peace, and in chaotic times as well, I could always return to the simple pleasure of listening to this video. I have studied to your previous videos in years before and today I still study to your newer videos. All along my side I had your collections of music to listen to, and it has kept me going in times both high and low. It might not mean much to others but I hope you know that you have kept me going and today, after two and a half years of pouring out my heart and soul to getting back on my feet and continuing not just my education, but my life as well, picking up a job again and being able to work out and forming new relationships and a better awareness of myself, these things I have spent years in cultivating, now I'm back on the ground and just getting started. Thank you for the simple joy of listening to music. It's been a help in my life and I'm sure in others. Lots of love to you folks - I love this community.

I just wish local cafés played these kind of compilations, instead of the same usual pop songs over and over again.

Still listening to this regularly in 2023. This is the best playlist Chillhop has made. Also nostalgic for what life was like, 3 years ago. I miss it.

We've arrived at Fall 2019, fellas. 🍂 You know, I stumbled upon Chillhop back in FALL 2017 I'd have these streams on for 24 HRS A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK. I just want to say, thank you, it's been the best medicine since therapy.

These Fall Compilations are special to me, I turn a year older every fall, it also takes me back to 2016 when I would stressfully study and learn code, and looked forward to that day where I would move away from a minimum wage job and into a promising career, it has also helped me just relax and enjoy the moment without stress. I am now a Software Engineer and thanks to these compilations who have helped me get through. Happy Holidays Everyone!
