Now that some of the royal kids are getting older, there’s even more rules and restrictions they have to follow 24/7. The next generation of the British royal family is growing up with everything they could ever want - but that life doesn’t come without a cost! Here are all the strict rules the royal kids MUST follow.

The kids have to follow a strict dress code and are required to attend private school and probably go to boarding school when they enter their teens. They have to learn proper table manners and etiquette and even learn foreign languages! Plus you’ll never believe which classic board game the royal kids aren’t allowed to play!

The kids of Prince Harry and Prince William are obviously too young to start dating - but someday they’ll be ready to find their own significant others. When that day comes, there will be some SERIOUS rules and protocols to follow while dating.

These kids may be young but they already have a ton of rules to follow! Which of these royal kiddos do you think will stick with royal life, once they have a choice?

  • I am 75 years old an American female and when I grew up everyone follow these rules. it was considered good manners and our parents would allow nothing less. I think Society would be greatly improved if we went back to the days of good manners. I did not come from a wealthy family so if you are thinking that you are wrong. perhaps, the United States could implement manners month... much less important things get a month so why not manners?

This was very interesting. The whole “no coddling” and sending the children to boarding school, when they’re still young, makes me really sad, as snuggling with my kids was the best part of raising children. Everyone is losing out in that situation… especially the children. 😢

I'm not royalty but my parents taught me the same rules and I think they should be taught today to all children.

Regardless of royalty or not children need to learn rules manners and respectful behavior.

I spent a lot of time, teaching my 4 kiddos. I taught them table manners, showing courtesy to others, Especially, I showed them restaurant politeness, treating the server, kindly, speaking to any server with courtesy. Also, when traveling by air, to be very courteous to flight attendants along with people you don't know who are seated next to them. My kiddos resisted, didn't see the value in what I was teaching them. They thank me, now.
  • I grew up with some of these rules, sitting at the table , dress code etc. No harm done . I then taught them to my children and often had compliments how well behaved my children were. I could take them to restaurants, vist people etc. You start young and main constant. My children also learnt how to make their own beds , clean at around 9, I would include them to help from early on, spray bottle of water, wet cloth, they were very happy. Better than sat in front of tv, or as nowadays an IPad. Children do actually need rules , guidance. It’s our job to raise them so they can go into the world and contribute not hinder.

Monopoly isn't banned as such. Apparently the Queen got sick of everyone arguing when playing at Christmas time so she said no more Monopoly! I imagine they can play if they really want to - just not in front of the Queen!

I am 50+ and most of these manners applicable to us were strictly adhered too and we did the same with our children who are appreciated as excellent kids... feel proud of them boils down to my mothers upbringing of us and we know 4 languages read, write and speak 👍 thank you mum...

I will never dream of disrespecting my grandparents by not having basic manners. Blue collar raised in the American south, I still say no and thank you mam/sir even to those younger. I like seeing children get excited being adressed as an adult. Holding doors and picking up after ones self. Respecting staff of anywhere, especially service jobs. Basic manners and respect of others should never be sacrificed for individual selfishness.

None of these rules are unreasonable. It would be nice if more people had good taste.
  • I think Charlotte is the spitting image of her Great Grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. If you google & look at Queen Elizabeth's photos as a young girl, even at this age, they could pass almost as the same person. I really hope she shows her Grandchildren a lot of love & hugs them like normal Grandma's do bc I loved to spend time with my Grandma. I have the best memories. Her hugs & cuddles were the best. 💞🧓🙏

In Asia people bow as a mark of respect when greeting somone , young people bow to their elders out of respect , once upon a time a gentleman took off his hat out of respect when greeting a lady , It's not just royals who do it .

I believe all three of the Wales children will happily participate in all aspects of royal life. Their parents are teaching them wonderful lessons about their roles and they are growing up with love and respect for their country and its citizens. That family is wonderful. ❤️🇬🇧

These are things that ALL kids should follow. Yet, sadly today manners and etiquette are just gone!

While there are diet rules they need to follow in general; they can have unhealthy food at times. One of Princess Diana's chefs had a funny story about how when he asked what they would be having for dinner she told him to order McDonald's. He said "Ma'am I can make burgers here." Her response "No, it's not the food, they want the toy in the kids meal" 🤣 I bet those toys they were allowed to keep haha.
