Hi, simply for viewer information, I just replace the bearing of my maytag washer and have now that noise. I forgot to put grease inside the seal, and that's the cause of that sound. If no bearing job was done , the seal is dry or have dryer out. I was able to inject the grease with a needle syringe. Had to heat the grease inside the syringe by putting it in hot water. So far, the noise is gone.

Did you eventually find out what was wrong? I have the same exact washer and it makes this noise as well? Thank you in advanced!

Same washer , making the same noise. Do you think it was the bearings after all, or during disassembly and reassembly you disturbed whatever it was actually making that noise. Now its wore back in and making the noise again?
