Testing costs in low and middle income countries needs to drop. Your company has the power to save millions of lives just by choosing to make slightly less profit. Danaher did the right thing and should be applauded for lowering the cost of standard TB tests. Now apply that humanity to resistant TB, HIV and other tests.

Danaher, I would like to politely but insistently request that you make test cartridges $5 in low- and middle-income countries. Charging 300% of the manufacturing cost when lives are lost daily due to lack of affordable tests is a bad look. And also just plain bad.

#timefor5 #Peopleoverprofits Please stop having your investors profit from unaffordable tests in the poorest countries that lead to wrong medicines being given. Isnt that a direct contributor to multi drug resistant TB?
