  • The last tip is really helpful I needed to hear that, I tend to talk fast and I really deep down inside of me hate it
  • @HitherandYarn
I have almost never been taken seriously, even though I have innovative ideas that other people sometimes snatch as their own and receive the rewards for them. I know this is due to my voice - which sounds like a little kid (something physical I can't do anything about) and I also am extremely shy and don't know how to deserve success. I love these pointers you give. They are so sensible and practical. Thanks!

I needed this ! I have social anxiety && I’m alwaaays seeking acceptance & always feeling judged it’s so annoying , but I’m gonna practice these tips and see if my confidence boosts !! Especially the last tip!! I talk so fast because I feel like I gotta get it out quick or they’ll lose interest , when in reality me talking fast is causing them to lose interest . Thank you so much!
  • @mwloos1
My weird fear is that when I speak confidence, people are thinking “what the hell are you doing? You’re not allowed to be confident”….
  • Oh, I love how he mentions his 10 second pause before speaking. That’s massively powerful when interacting with an audience and it builds the excitement and desire to know what’s about to happen. Basically it stops people from being distracted with their phones or their conversations. Really neat idea!

"Giving up the need to be liked and serve Truth Bombs instead" "Speak up for what you truly believe in" "Power of .... PAUSE ..." Another brilliant, brilliant "Truth Bombed" video, Tim, thank you so much 🙏🏻❤️🎁

My biggest takeaway was that I am in my own movie called life and I am the actor and no one cares about me, the cameras are not on me. I'm one of those people who use like more often in their speech, and I normally present my ideas as a question, I will try on to pause when I speak, hopefully I'll get confident with speech, this video was very helpful❤
  • @farl.796
I overthink a lot about how others perceive me and this limits my ability to share what I truly believe in, worrying that I might offend them so each time I speak I tend to filter some of the ideas they might misunderstand. But I realized I'm not really making a point nor an impact in their lives. I just wasted the opportunity to really connect to the person... thank you for this eye-opener.
  • @noahjames949
This 7 minutes video is really a life-changer. You shared really effective things.
  • My takeaway is the tone. Speaking with more authority. Now for me...in person speaking face to face I have more authority...but over the phone it’s like I’m timid. Plus having to go ummmm and/or like does really sound very below but I can’t help it. It is something to master. I am dying to sound confident over the phone.

I relate so much to the social anxiety. Here I am 4 years later taking acting classes and speaking in front of people. Don't get me wrong I still have anxiety but I've learned how to cope with it and how to calm myself down:) I still have a long way to go but then again you can never really get rid of feeling nervous, but you can definitely find ways to control it. anyway good luck to others out there with anxiety!:) you can do it!
  • @dillo1594
bro this is actually an incredible video, i have severe anxiety and thats an understatement, believe me, sometimes I feel like im the most anxious and socially awkward person in the world and I can tell you relate to that in a way and have found real happiness and im on my journey too. Thank you for your part
  • Practice makes perfect, with more practice u will Become more confident !
  • I like the idea of each sentence spoken and ending on an upbeat higher tone (provided it fits the context). Also adding dramatic pause between some parts, so you can show you are thinking while speaking and not rambling. These points are gold. Thanks for this video!
  • @raeeskhan3237
Straight to the point with practical tips and examples on how to speak with confidence. Point 1 has blown my mind 🤯! I constantly speak in a higher tone. I didn’t realise this makes everything I say sound like a question, seeking approval.
  • The truth bombs gave me so much confidence. I learned that I should not care about what others think and I should focus on what I believe in. Thank you very much! This helped a lot. My oratorical speech contest is coming up next week. I'm glad that I clicked this video :)
  • Thanks for the reminder that tone will change how the listeners perceives you. It really made sense when you said that if you believe in something that will show confidence when you speak about it
  • @asnakezman302
the final point ..pause for 10 second ..i really love it ...it makes u look confident .. people reconize that u know what u talking about ..and they take u seriouslly
