Whoever cut this together deserves a massive raise. This was so well paced and put together!! So happy my favorite franchise is getting the love it deserves from Nintendo right now!!
  • "Metroid" franchise is an utmost masterpiece imo. It has thrills, horrors and above all, mysteries. I can't imagine, what Metroid Prime 4 has in stores for us next.

The funny thing was I recently got into a GameBoy Advance phase and finished Metroid Fusion for the first time ever like a literal week before this game was announced. Looks like waiting nearly 2 decades to play a game can sometimes pay off!

I like that for the fusion part they started using a lot of text, just like how Fusion was the first main line Metroid game to mainly tell it’s story through text boxes.

That transition from Metroid II into Super was incredible. Edit: Just watched it again and somehow this is making me nostalgic for a game that's hardly a month old.

Thinking about the fans that didn't live long enough to witness this whole arc unfold. We made it, you guys.

Dread is one of the best games I’ve played in a while. Please give us more 2D Metroid! And let Mercury Steam give it to us!

I'm curious who was tasked with putting this together. Looked like a fun project animating with four games.

This was a really cool and well put together video

I was hoping NoA would show this video on their channels sooner or later, my biggest props to the team that made this beautiful recreation of the history of a fantastic franchise like Metroid.

Man, I remember Nintendo doing stuff like this back when Other M was coming out. Looks like they've finally regained enough confidence in this franchise to bring up its history again. Helps that the game they're marketing for is actually good too

Watching this is just like watching the best franchise grow
  • @OnTheRide1
Not gonna lie, I teared up big time. I wish my favorite series of all time would get more love from their creators.

Low key one of the coolest trailers for a game ever made. The way it shows all the pixel art from the older games, and then hard transitions to the gorgeous 3D graphics, showing that we’re not in Kansas anymore. This is Metroid fulfilled.

How cute, you made an NES version of the gunship featured in Zero Mission! I think Samus' gunship was first shown in Metroid II. Samus opens a green door with a power beam shot instead of a super missile in your Super Metroid intro though, whoops.
