U.S. 4x2 Dominates Jamaican Teams To Break National Record

A day after narrowly missing the national and world junior record in the girlsโ 4x400 relay, theBullisgirls left no doubt on the track as they leveled two Jamaican teams and Virginiaโs Western Branch relay to win the girlsโ 4x200 invitational at the Virginia Showcase.
The Bulldogs time of 1:35.39 broke the national high school and world junior record set by the Poly High (CA) foursome of Shana Solomon, Jasmine Lee, Dominique Dorsey, and Shalonda Solomon at the Armory Track in New York City in 2003.

The blind handoff from 1 to 2 won this race. That is one of the few times I've seen a blind hand off indoors. Exchanges...exchanges...exchanges win races. The ladies escalated through the exchange zone, for each handoff and executed a damn near flawless race. Well done.
