OTRCMP : EP7 : I Rescued a Barn Cat & He Changed my Life!

There's nothing I respect like someone who cares for strays.

Long story short my wife abandon me when I was going through cancer treatments and during recovery I met my cat looking around the animal shelter and he changed my life as well. I would say to him “no one wants us so we have to stick together” 7 years later and still going strong 💪

A small ginger kitty wandered into our hedgerow and into my son's heart. Once his ear mites, fleas, and manhood were attended to, Queen Bee Alice kitty notched his ear. He then ruled the house with sweetness all the days of his life. We will remember you forever, Kitzu.

I was a lifelong cat hater and hunting dog owner. After my once in a lifetime lab passed, I took a break for getting another dog (too painful thinking about it). Well after a few years and maybe thinking about another dog a stray cat showed up at our house and the wife started feeding it. Now that cat owns our house and everything in it and has brought great joy to our lives. Right now, she is sleeping on our bed, and we need to be quiet. lol

We purchased a kitten and they thru the house in for free. Relator opened the door to find a kitty sitting in the hallway staring at us. I picked him up and he sat in the palm of my hand, purring as we looked thru the house. The family were moving over seas and couldn't take him with. We offered to adopt and they accepted. Joe cam to closing, sat on the table as we signed the docs then road home on the dash. He hung with us for one more move and passed at 15. He was a chill beast like Chester. May you have many years together and capture lots of memories.

Hello Justin, I am a crazy cat lady and thank you for taking in Chester, getting him to a vet and giving him love and a good home. So awesome of you. You and Chester will have a good life.

Orange tabbies have great chill personalities. I have been a cat owner for over 30 years since my college days. It would feel strange to sit on the couch, and not have a cat sitting on my lap. I always say that the cat runs the house and I just pay the bills.

Four years ago, in the cold of a northeast winter, we took in a stray who presented us with six kittens four months later. Three were adopted to loving homes as kittens and we have the rest. We love them all and enjoy them everyday.

Great to see Chester having fun and being loved . I live in Ukraine with my partner , we have 3 stray cats ( abandonned by people fleeing the war ) , we have Yoshi , Kirby and Sox brightening our lives

An great example of a REAL MAN caring for those who cannot repay you in money but love. Thank you for caring so much about animals. They're so helpless, precious and priceless.

Your boy looks just like our boy. He is a 19-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat mix. You keep him healthy and you keep him inside, and keep taking them to that excellent vet, Chester could easily hang with you until his twenties. Thank you for giving him a home and some dignity.
