SDS wasn't happy with just the games sold money and the stubs we did buy because we got most cards by grinding.. They got greedy so they decided low cards then try to snowball us with the good cards late in the season in 24 but decided to throw a screwball at us and make us spend money for stubs to buy the better seasons cards and took OUR OPTIONS OF selling WE DIDN'T LIKE OR WANT TO KEEP to not make any stubs to FORCE US TO BUY stubs. It's pure greed no other way to say it and you KNOW HOW I KNOW?? We are watching some of the best MLB the Show content creators go back and stream and play older versions of this game THAT SAYS IT ALL!!!

MLB the show 21 was almost like a trap. The amount of “meta” cards they gave out for free was insane. But it has me thinking, this was the first year the game was on Xbox. I definitely got hooked this was the first mlb game I played since like 2k12. The show is like my main game now. It’s insane how much better I am too from just grinding. I stayed at like .500 win percent this game, now I’m at like .750

Your videos always make me happy. I don’t know anything about baseball, but I just love your energy. You’re a lot of fun.
  • Top tier game, can’t believe it’s been that long since I started watching THE GOAT
  • Might be your funniest video ever and I’ve been watching since MLB 21 😂

Littlemann is literally the most wholesome baseball youtuber lol ❤😂
  • AJ, I know why you feel the way you do and are right about a lot of it. However, I have to say although being skeptical at first I like the seasons and the card lockouts. It allows the MLB dev team to create different metas and keeps the season with some variety rather than facing the exact same teams every game. I’ll give a good example - I cooked up a theme team last year that basically melts righties but couldnt hit lefties. s1 meta was like 98% lefties. had to retire a lot of the idea, was sad. now, s2 so far I swear there are almost no lefty pitchers. now this exact same team has become insane. It also makes things the core set more valuable, which I like. It allows strategic decision making in the marketplace to try to predict what cards will be in demand. It’s fun and I’m glad they did it. lots of the rest feels icky though, like how far they put the wild card slots deep into the xp path was just really viciously anti casual
