You did such a good job! Sewing is maddening sometimes, but that is the way of it. Something as simple as a neckline or princess seam will have you nearly crying while you redo it for the 27th timeβ been there, sis. It's rough, but when it's finished, oh man, it's worth it! Again, you did a really good job, you should be proud of yourself π

So happy to see a new thrift flip that was more involved and creative than "let's just crop it" or "let's just make it a mini skirt." Even though you struggled, it was interesting to see the process, your thought process, what you learned from the experience, and how it all turned out. Looks cute!

This could not have come at a better time, and have not been able to find a way to make this dress or even buy it (that's because im plus size so \-.-/ but im not gonna let that stop me from wearing something i want periodt) and im also going on a trip! Thank you so much!!!

It's so cute! I think top stitching the neckline so that the front folds over the back (so the lining doesn't show) would be a way to quickly fix the neckline!

Loved how the dress turned if it was me I would have just added a ruffle on the top of the neckline to hide it lol I also get frustrated sometimes with projects but they never turn out as good as yours !
