Baltimore and New England meet in the playoffs for the first time since the 2009 Wild Card, in a heavyweight fight with an anticlimactic ending.

Patriots and Ravens battled to a 2-2 draw in the playoffs from 09-14. That was a rivalry

Unspoken fact...The Patriots went to 8 straight AFC Championship games starting from this game. They won 5 of those Championship games and 3 Super bowls. Elite lvl
  • What’s crazy is that the ravens and Niners who lost in the AFC Championship NFC championship game those teams are in the Super Bowl A year later
  • @Kalos64
Great game! Also, I just realized each of this season’s runner ups made the Super Bowl the next season. Huh.

In 2011 he tied Joe Montana for the most playoff wins. IN 2011. Why is there still a Montana/Brady debate again???
  • "16-16 of field goals in the fourth quarter" "The kick look out look out it's no good "

Watching this game and then the 2012 AFC championship is like watching Infinity War and then Endgame.

Sterling Moore, the unsung hero for the Pats. Knocked down that potential game-winning TD pass on Lee Evans and broken up that pass on Dennis Pitta

sigh cundiff.... we could have had two Super Bowls back to back. But this motivated us the next year and we drafted the best kicker in a long time after this.

The image of Vince arms outstretched at the end was iconic. He had just played what was up to that point the best game he'd ever played.

If only Justin Tucker would have been drafted a year earlier.

Its crazy to watch this game and think it was only 10 years ago yet the game moves so different in the way they officiate it and show replays without all the new camera angles. It also crazy to see Alberto Riveron actually on the field. He was also a very good field referee.

I remember this game like it was yesterday this game crushed my soul
  • @akbaseball123
Wow that drive starting at 1:12:02 gave me goosebumps seeing Hernandez being used so much. What could’ve been.
  • Gives me chills tho, when Jim Nantz says “the kick .... LOOK OUT LOOK OUT ITS NO GOOD ITS NO GOOD!!!!” This game gives me chills and 2011 was a truly a magical season, even though we didn’t win, we made it to the super bowl and almost won it for Myra, if only Welker could make ONE more just for Myra
  • @mariosnum1fan
Not only was the 2011 season one of my favorites even though my team didn’t make it to the playoffs, but aside from the first wild card game, there wasn’t a dull postseason game. This game proved to be one of the best that year
  • edeleman AS A DAM CORNER SMH I MISS THESE PATRIOTS AND WE HAD THE WORST PASS RATED DEFENSE SMH
  • @travishill3256
Brady really didn’t look confident this game. Still got the win with the 31sr ranked defense. I loved this 2011 Patriots team.
