Met a girl at a singles event. Having an awesome convo. She's flirting with me like crazy. Turns out though, she came to the event because she was invited by her male friend who she met on a dating app. (They came on separate cars) Turns out, HE wanted me to ask for her number. Just before I did it, she goes to the bathroom, arm in arm with him. Comes back. I ask her what's up. She tells me: "He's just a friend. There's something about him which I can't divulge which guarantees that he wont be more than that." Is he gay? "No. I can't tell you. It's confidential on his end." We exchange numbers. She continues to send me vibes. She goes home. I spent the rest of the night brooding about this "friend". I send her a voice note the next day that I have a big problem with this stuff. She validates my sentiments and agrees with me...but then reiterates the same cryptic story about her "friend". I tell her that this isnt giving me clarity. She says "i understand" End of convo. Bye bye.

Don't bother at all. We have one of the most insurmountable period of time approaching. Hope y'all getting supplies, skills and long term survival stuff set aside. The depression will look like a joke compared to what's coming. Get in shape, get your heart and mind strong, learn while the Internet is still available. Always comes with an expiration date with these new friendships & relationships… my best friend died in 2020 and my gf broke up with me that same year two people whp I never imagined would leave my life!
