Thank you for watching everyone! It was so much fun working with these Incredible people over the years to make this story happen. Happy i could give everyone a recap of this "one of a kind" Speedrun!
  • @bsimp10
Fun fact: Limcube actually changed his accent to German for this video because it's faster.
  • @Bloopy
This entire video is just “BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE”, and I’m all for it

I love the idea of Sheikah building trials from 10,000 years ago so no one would take their powers and link wakes up and is like "gimmie 20 minutes".

It's so crazy to hear that BTBs and shrine clips are barely older than windbombs. When I started caring about BotW speedruns, I thought they had been known for forever lol
  • @LuisRPG8
I love how EMS in BOTW was initially tought as impossible, only to require simply sleeping at a campfire to pull it off(literally, heheh) years later, Speedruners and Glitchhunters always find a way.

I'm glad you all credited the glitch hunters in this one, seems like they really pulled of some miracles here
  • @CuteZi
Legend of Link is the REAL legend here. Props to him for finding all these glitches

This really captures all the craziness that botw glitches have offered over the years, I'm so used to them now it's just like "oh link can fly across the map in a different way now lol" but this speedrun progression really puts it into perspective, in an epic fashion.

hi i'm lunoplasty. i wasn't expecting to be in this video as the category & game have evolved so much since i last ran, not to mention my potato-quality stream setup. nice work on the video! at the time, i thought Master Sword would be a really fun race category with many different options for routing. for my own route (google doc still saved to this day), i wanted to let runners tackle shrines and a dungeon, without needing to commit to the extensive "all shrines" or "all dungeons" categories, as many shrines feature wild solutions that were hard or impossible to show off in other categories at the time. this brought back some memories! maybe i'll dust off my wii u gamepad...
  • I remember the thing that got me interested in speedrunning was the excitement about barrier skip finally being discovered in Wind Waker HD (Wind Waker being a special game from my childhood, so it caught my attention.) For me personally, the hunt for the Great Plateau skip feels like the modern version of that old Holy Grail. I'm sure you'll find it someday, and it's going to be amazing when it happens!

    I can't believe it's already outdated :)
  • @avian1799
If I ever see someone yell at random deer in the forest, I‘ll assume he‘s a speedrunner
  • Such a fun video! It felt super hyped whenever there was a "cut, fade-to-black, BUT THEN..." to the point I was audibly cheering when the last few strats were being introduced and explained. I liked the narrator's accent as well.
  • I just love how much glitchhunters work together. The fact that one simple glitch can cause a chain of many other glitches is so interesting.
  • @ironnatepup
I like to imagine sleeping at the campfire gives Link a burst of strength to just casually pull the master sword out of the pedestal
  • @Guaptologist
it’s so cool how glitch hunters and speed runners work together to break the game as much as possible to complete it faster, it’s probably my favourite part about speed running
  • @SSDARKPIT
How many glitches and exploits will we discover until ACE gets discovered, if it even could have ACE? This game is so broken, we can do things that were originally thought to be emulator only like keeping the Bow of Light with no Final Boss issues, Infinite Jump, flying anywhere at high speed and no stamina consumption, etc., yet we can't warp to the credits. Edit: Corrected a typo.
  • @Alexwgr
It's crazy to me that this game has been out for over 4 years now
  • @Bailey_West
Hey I recognize this guy’s voice! It’s Limcube, the guy who taught everyone how to speedrun BOTW. Thanks for giving me something to do during quarantine
