  • I'm a Michigander and I love hearing how much you enjoy our state. It is a beautiful place to live. God Bless!!!
  • If there were two people who were meant to be together, it's the two of you. You are an inspiration of a Godly couple. The love and respect you show towards one another is so inspiring. Michaela is a lot like her Mom.
  • I have lived in Michigan my entire life. I love listening to you talk about the same places I've visited many times. The Mackinac Bridge is my favorite place to go. Once you cross it into the upper peninsula, you feel like you are that much closer to heaven. Michigan is an absolutely beautiful state.

When my mom was alive her dream was to go to Mackinac Island. She used to talk about it and what she would like to see, but she never got there. Thank you for taking me along so I could see the beauty she saw in this lovely island. Blessings to you both.
  • I'm from Oklahoma, my husband was born and raised in Michigan. I spent my honeymoon on Mackinaw Island. I loved it. At bedtime , it was so quiet, you could only hear the clip clop of the horses, and occasionally a barge going by. I felt like I went back in time and absolutely loved it!

What a fun trip. I worked on Mackinac Island for 3 summers in the late 70’s. It was so much fun and it is where I met my husband. We have been married 40 years now. It has always been one of our favorite places to visit. Mighty Mac Hamburgers is where I worked. Thanks, it brought up a lot of great memories for me. ❤

We live in Michigan and try to visit Mackinac island every year. We started staying on the island for one or two nights the last few years and that is really fun. It gets very quiet after the last ferry leaves the island. We take our bikes and ride all over the island and explore new places. We have three children and now they are all married with kids of their own. We hope to take some grandchildren when they get a little older. We celebrated our 40th anniversary in May. Blessings to both of you. You are such a sweet couple. So happy you got to see the island. Try spending the night next time and you’ll see. The people are wonderful there.
  • My husband and I travel a lot, but honestly, I think Makinac Island is one of our faves! We stayed in a B&B, rode bikes around island, visited the fort & all the fudge shops, & took a horse/buggy tour of island. Lovely!

  • My husband grew up in Indiana and went here several times. All he ever wanted was to take me here. Yes the fudge he told me about too. Two years after he retired from the military he got service related cancer and fought it for 9 years. Thank you as I won't be able to go with him however thank you for sharing having the great description as I enjoyed it through you.. I smiled all the way through. You are such an awesome couple!!!!!
