This one of the most genius aspects of Cubase, in my opinion. As it allows more non-musicians to finally express the music within them in a far easier way! Just imagine how much more beautiful music the world will have when people, who don't know much about music theory, are able to express their creativity! Eddie Van Halen, Hendrix, Grohl, Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery, Clapton can't/couldn't read music, but look at their musical legacy!

Thanks Dom. I've only recently started using chord pads and I do love them. I generally write my progressions by hand and while I know how to do it, I'm lazy and would rather not LOL. Also, there's some inspiration that can come from using chord pads. Looks like I should upgrade to Cubase 13 soon. I held off because I'm not too impressed with 12.

Hi, new chord pad features are mind-blowing - thanks for the nice soulful demo! I am still on C12 and would like to ask if I can import my USER presets from C12 to C13, are user chord pad presets compatible with the newest version?
  • @louiewgroenewald
This is wonderful, you can get lost in playing around with beautiful sounds quickly. When I start It is hard to stop playing around and start working...🙂🙂

Love to new Chord Pad update!!🙏🏾 Question though? Where did y’all move the Get Chords from Chord track feature that use to be in the Chord pad drop down menu? That was literally my Favorite feature about the Chord pads, was to grab a chord progression from a sample and push it to the Chord pads with ease….

Steinberg did a great job here. Is this update in Nuendo 13 also?
  • @richochet
Thanks, please consider adding midi parts library so we can save, reuse and catalog our midi parts much easier?

Cheers Dom, an understandably tutorial as usual, the right hand takes years to get to that standard, lol
