In support of Israel, US deploys F-22's to Middle East amid rising tensions

The US is continuing to move military assets into the Middle East amid rising tensions in the region as a show of support for Israel. A squadron of F-22 steal fighter jets from the US has now arrived in the region from joint base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.

"We've of course seen the public messaging that has come out whether it be from Hezbollah or from Iran," Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said. "And that's why the secretary made the decision that he did to bolster our force posture in the region. And of course, our commitment to the defense of Israel remains ironclad."
