Filmed lots of footage for straight timelapse but changed mind and just used smaller real-speed clips instead.
Music is improvised guitar, recorded at potato quality.

Time lapses are great; but sometimes it's nice to watch the process in real time as well. You can pick up some nuances that are harder to see when the video is sped up. Really beautiful piece. The more I see of Gouache the more I want to try it. Your palette here is fantastic; I love the almost muted blues, and then the main subject in more vibrant color. It gives scope to the piece, and draws your eye to the main character. The buildings in the furthest portion of the background are also really well done; I like how they are a bit looser, which makes them feel far away. Your art is amazing. I don't really go on the art side of youtube but when I stumbled upon your channel and your videos I found myself enjoying it, I really like your painting idk it just had this certain feel to it, it just looks so wholesome, complete lol. Drawing and painting is an amazing talent, we know that's a fact but watching you go through the painting and then finally getting to see the final picture was amazing.
